When planting your tomatoes this year, try planting them deeper than usual. This gardening tip will help your tomato plants be more productive. Ya know how the stem of a tomato plant is prickly? Well, if you plant the stem underground, most of the prickles will become roots.

3 Steps:

  1. Pinch branches to remove the lower 2/3rds of the stem
  2. Dig a deeper hole and place the plant in as usual
  3. Fill the hole with soil and wait for the plant to grow as usual
